We seek consent before collecting sensitive information through our intake.
Sensitive information is used to understand your child’s needs and plan suitable activities, adaptations and participation options.
You may leave optional questions unanswered. If we need additional information to prepare a suitable program, we will explain what is needed and why.
You may contact us to withdraw consent to future use of sensitive information. We will explain any effect this has on a program in progress and any information we must retain.
Please do not include unnecessary medical records, identifying documents or private information about other people.
5. Information about children
We collect information about children from authorised adults to prepare and deliver educational resources.
We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed for that purpose.
Where a child has the capacity to understand and make decisions about their information, their wishes and consent should also be considered.
We seek separate permission before using identifiable photographs, work samples, testimonials or information about a child in public marketing.
Purchasing a resource or completing an intake does not give permission for public use of your child’s information.
6. Service providers and sharing
We use service providers to operate our business, including:
-
Shopify, for our website, store and order processing.
-
Typeform, for personalised program intakes.
-
Payment providers used at checkout.
-
Gmail, for correspondence.
Relevant information may be handled by these providers to perform their services.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers or authorities where reasonably necessary or required by law.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not provide identifiable intake responses to advertising platforms.
Payment details are handled by the payment provider. Please do not send card details through email or the intake.
7. Overseas storage and processing
Some service providers store or process information outside Australia.
Typeform’s standard hosting is in the United States. Its hosting location may differ for accounts with other hosting arrangements.
We consider privacy and security when choosing providers and take reasonable steps appropriate to our obligations to protect information handled overseas.
8. Storage, security and retention
Personal information is held in the service providers listed above and any authorised business records used to prepare and deliver your program.
We take reasonable steps to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Access is restricted to people who need it for an authorised business purpose.
No online system can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to deliver services, manage enquiries and amendments, maintain required records and meet legal obligations.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to lawful retention requirements and provider backup processes.
9. Cookies and website analytics
Our website and Shopify use cookies and similar technologies to operate the store, remember cart settings and understand website performance.
You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie controls available on the website. Blocking some cookies may affect store functions.
10. Marketing communications
We send marketing emails where you have opted in.
You can unsubscribe using the link in an email or by contacting us.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary messages about your enquiry, order, intake, delivery or requested amendments.
11. Access, correction and deletion requests
You can contact us to request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you or your child.
You may also request deletion or ask us to stop using information for a particular purpose.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before providing or changing information, especially information about a child.
We will respond within a reasonable time. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why, including any legal requirement to retain records.
12. Privacy questions and complaints
Please email infoneurolearn@gmail.com with any privacy question or complaint.
Explain your concern and how you would like us to respond. We will acknowledge your complaint, investigate it and provide a response within a reasonable time.
